yip, even though it is here I'm getting ready for homeschooling next year. Greg and Danny will both be staying home. Greg in grade 7 and Danny in grade 4. I ordered my books this week and sent in half the money owing today. I'm very excited about getting all the books and getting a schedule made up already. I'm hoping by mid August I will have a schedule and plan. It will be pretty different with both of them home. I do want to get desks for their room, just in case one finishes and done doesn't. Greg's case load will be more than Danny's and more independent though I do plan to sit with him more this year than I did last. I do need to start making plans for Social Studies already though so I'm not scrambling at the last minute and since I have the books I'm using already...it should be easy enough...I hope. Social Studies is one class they will be doing together. I'll try and keep up to date as I'm planning. Exciting times!

Sounds like fun. What will you study in social studies? Anything that requires field trips?
We are doing a study called " Around the World in 180 Days." We are starting in Africa so no field trips there but we have contacts with people who can introduce us to African Culture here in Alberta so I'll be checking that out.
Sounds like a great idea. I'll ask Melissa if her boyfriend knows of anything that the boys could take in. He is from Egypt I think and lives in Edmonton.
